Wtf? taking it too far? why does everyone keep saying stuff like this. Making an AI movie is an incredible idea - I hope it works out. AI is an amazing album and they should stretch it to it's limits. Personally i'm glad they are "dragging it out" it's fucking awesome and I love having access to so much Green Day stuff. Fuck all the bad shit, just remember the music, thats all you need.

I dont care if there's an 11 year old wearing the same GD shirt i have. I just got back from the store a couple hours ago and picked up a couple new GD posters. When i got into them there wasn't as much merch, and it seemed like i had everything i wanted, and the rest of the stuff was shit. Now there so much of it, i love it. I think if they make a movie it'll be good. At least i hope so. I don't think i've seen anything Green Day has ever done that I wasn't totally in love with. I think the guys have more common sense than to put their time into something that'll end up cheesy. I think all this bad PR is coming from people who aren't big fans of the band...obviously. I would be bitter of I had to watch some band I didn't like on TV all the time. I would be a lot happier if Green Day moved over to Adeline and marketed all their stuff through that. I hate Warner. I think they need to take a step back and understand Green Day fans aren't like any other pop band. Most dedicated fans connect with the guys (or claim to) on a deeper level by understanding their lyrics and what they are/were about. Thank you for stating a sensible opinion. I completely agree with it, especially that last line.

Making a 9 minute long video packed with things like drugs and sex was one. Not to mention they have Green Day stuff in Claires. That's not cool. I associate Claires with pink. I'm no calling them sellouts exactly, but there musical artists. Not screenwriters. It reminds me of when Hilary Duff tried to sing and act. Ick.

Like i said, the only reason theyre so damn popular is theyre half jumped on the emo bandwagon. not completely, but 2 of their singles, especially the latter do. and the look. anyway, please people, dont give us this "this is just like dookie" thing again. in dookie they already had a new cd out by now, and didnt have shirts in every store. and can you imagine them now starting a massive mudfight at woodstock? no. and dookie didnt change a bit from kerplunk or 1039. and dookie also didnt jump on the hate bush bandwagon.

Okay stop. They are not "emo" as the stereotype is pictured. Emo is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Everyone experiences emotions, so yeah, BoBD sounds a bit "emo" because it is an emotional song. But it's not this trendwhore slit my wrists emo shit. And JoS was awesome, IMO, mclaren. Although, that doesn't mean the movie will be good. I personally think it'll be eh.
