The poll is pretty obvious. Just where do you get your news first?

Do you read it on GDA, then come to the forum? Or vice versa?

I'm just curious as to how many people that use the forum, still use the main site for news.

I use them both.

i got strait on 2 GDA

I usually check Greenday.net than GDA.

I'll go to GDA if there was awards or something to see if Green Day won, or else ill go straight to GDC.

i go to GDA first, and then come here to see the discussions on it.

I usually check GDC for the minor little details and news that isn't "ground breaking" GDA always posts good articles and little bits of info that is nice to know

Well, I said both, but technically, I don't necessarily go to GDA that often. Rather, I see their stores linked on my Facebook feed, and then I'll go to GDC and read about them.

lol oh wow I didn't realize how old this was

Yep, it's old - but it's still relevant and I find it very interesting. Not to mention we have thousands of new people who weren't around when this was made.

I think this place sucks visitors away from GDA. You all should be paying a lot more to be here since we lose advertising money when people stop going to GDA. Hey, if the Idiot Club can charge $20/year, why can't we?

both, and along with greenday.com

Both. GDA for big news and GDC for smaller things.

If that makes sense?

Posted

Both

My computer top webpage thing actually puts a giant star that shows that GDA has been updated so i usually open that and then GDC in another tab at the same time LOL

I would def spend $20 a year to keep this place and GDA up. They are both amazing. Andres, you do a fantastic job.

I have no preference. Either way, news gets to me soon enough.

EDIT: 500 :lol::woot:

Thanks, though I could never charge for either. I'd feel way too guilty about not doing more. I should write a lot more for the site, but I never get around to it.

Yeah i think that helps. Gives me a "trendy" persona.

I check GDA whenever I get on the internet then after I check GDA I get on GDC.

Posted

I have the GDA RSS Feed in my email client so whenever GDA has new news I get a notification. Can't ever NOT know about some news!

And when I bumped this topic up a little bit ago I didn't think it would catch on! haha

GDA's my homepage

Posted

When I get on the computer the first thing I do is open one window with my email and one with GDA. It's much easier to have a look at/read/watch all the latest major Green Day things that way, instead of discovering them one thread at a time on GDC. Although I often do end up finding out stuff on GDC or facebook first, if the news breaks while I'm online.

Posted

I usually visit either one to get news but if i see a tweet from the GDA about some news ill head to the GDA to read about it

Posted

I generally read all Green Day news on here, because the first thing I do when I get on the internet is check out my email, fb, and my forums :)

I really should look at GDA more often though...
