Guest n1i0m3r9od Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 None of them really "Depress" me, per-say. But, a few conjurs up feelings, that's kind of hard to describe.
jordanisapunkrocker Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 sure, you became a fan when you were 1 year old .
jordanisapunkrocker Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 If you are being sarcastic please don't be IT'S TRUE! But if not then your nice
Zan Dirnt Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 If you are being sarcastic please don't be IT'S TRUE! But if not then your nice okay fine we will never agree, but i want to get on so know hard feelings.
rockchick86 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Uptight that song just kind of bothers me and upsets me the tune freaks me out
GreenDay-Idiot Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Macy's day parade and Whatsername...when I feel bad and I hear them it makes me feel worst
BrokenHome Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Having a Blast, Extraordinary girl and Wake Me Up When September Ends
Espresso Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 WMUWSE, Good Riddance *sometimes* rotting, and macy's day parade I think. well they don't make me actually depressed, I just think about something serious.
Jamie311 Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 the thing about me and Good Riddance is, it has appeared in so many of my favorite times of my life...so it makes me happy to think about the great memories but then makes me a wee bit depressed becasue it gets me missing everyone. That is the only one I can think of that sortof brings me down. Typically I am just so happy to be listening to Green Day that nothing can bring me down.
jesus the rage guy Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 this is gonna sounds weir but sometimes misery and holiday make me cry...and when i cry listen holiday is becoz i feel like billie joe where he sings...i love that song good riddance sometimes, and macy's day really make me think more than cry... wake me up always make me feel so down down down...but i love listen again and again...
minority_jaded Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 shake it off Lovely, Julie. For me, none of the songs really depress me. They help me cope with certain things going on with my life, and I haven't cried during a single one. The closest one that made me depressed was when I watched the video for "Wake Me Up When September Ends" because it brought back the memories of my dad's first deployment to Iraq. Except for that, nothing really.
justcause Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 A lot of Green Day songs move me - most of Insomniac, especially 'Stuck with Me', Christie Road, September, Good Riddance, Whatsername, but that's kind of good pain, if you know what I mean. The only one I can't actually bear to listen to is 'Rotting' - it comes from a dark, dark place of despair.
x Dearly Beloved Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Wake Me Up When September Ends. The lyrics were amazing and he wrote it from the heart. Well, he does write all his songs from the heart, but this one hit me hard. Also Good Riddance, it makes you think.
RegularDecoratedEmergency Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 the song scattered cause my old best friend last yr was being an asshole and jerk and it makes me cry sometimes whenever i look back on old memories when we used to be friends.
Gail. Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Good Riddence and Wake Me Up When September Ends. They eather happy or sad.
WaitingInBattleScars Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Blood Sex and Booze does it every time.
J.A.R. Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 Rotting makes me weird. Whatsername makes me sad cause my friend forced me to listen to it when my boyfriend dumped me she said it would help.
WaitingInBattleScars Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 I can't listen to all of American Idiot now, because it reminds me so much of shit that was going on last winter. I get all upset.
xXTattooed_MemoriesXx Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 mostly Wake Me Up When September Ends...my boyfriend is in the army and will soon be heading out to iraq the other would be good riddance (time of your life) but i think i lot of green day songs can depress you just depending on your mood
