Warning 2025 Remaster?

I definitely did not enjoy a majority of the live tracks on this Warning 2025 remaster album, that's for sure. 

 

The Misery demo was really hard to hear, it must have been damaged or something

Yes! Really loved these two demos (especially Misery), with the half-baked lyrics and Billie (I think) being like "it's the bridge" in the middle of Misery   Loved it. 

I know everyone is obsessed with the Otis mix of Macy's Day Parade, and I love it too, but I m actually obsessed with the demo. I just love it. All the sounds towards the end give it a tropical vibe (in my brain at least 😅) that reminds me of my hometown and gives me all the feels.

I've been listening to it non-stop. I put Warning on my Christmas CD list in 2000 (my parents could not be bothered to learn my taste in music, the list was necessary along with instructions on what CDs should not be bought at Wal-Mart). Of course my friends and I had already listened to it via the Napster leaks which is probably the reason I didn't go out and buy it myself when it released. I remember my boyfriend at the time telling me I was lame for liking it. I don't think I told any of my friends that I got it because when you're 16 you care way too much about what your friends think. At the time I didn't think anything could top Nimrod or Pearl Jam's Vs. as my favorite albums and Warning blew them both out of the water. It's remained my favorite album ever since. 

I remember the Napster leaks I downloaded  at first didn't have deadbeat holiday but one of the unknown live tracks from kalx show so didn't hear that song u til release

Am I in the Minority *ahem* in thinking that the Macy's Day Parade Otis mix is really disappointing?

I think you are in the Minority, because everyone seems to be super hyped about it, but you're not alone. I like the Otis mix, because I like the song. But I definitely prefer the original version and the demo over it, by long shot.

The Otis mix of Waiting is pretty cool though!
