I do somewhat agree with that reviewer that Coachella would be the place to do something different from a scramble of greatest hits. A lot of artists do something unique for their Coachella set from their standard concert. I take zero issue with the song choices (perhaps She and Warning would be nice additions for this crowd…I also want Bang Bang but don’t know how many people would know that one). But I would’ve liked to see them presented/structured differently — maybe by year, leading up their biggest hits from AI and 21CB, which that crowd would likely be most pumped for (as the reviewer noted). I think a condensed Eras Tour-style set would be neat. This isn’t meant as a criticism, they played phenomenal last night. But I think if there’s one place to play around with the set a bit and add some pizzazz to the presentation, it’s Coachella. 4 1 Quote

I'm so glad Green Day don't usually bring random celebrities on stage. I know festivals are different and the Coachella crowd must be a difficult one, but Green Day are still considered one of the best live bands in the world - they don't need a celebrity appearance to engage the audience. And it's cool that they give fans the chance to have the best nights of their lives on stage, rather than giving some other musician publicity.
