European tour 2025

Frankfurt is a good option. Should be about a ~3h drive so not a a bad bus ride away. Similar for Brussels. Amsterdam, Geneva and Paris are also reasonable options. I think they all should be around a 5h drive or less, so again reasonable buses (or trains or flights, just that buses might be the cheapest option). It really depends on to which cities you can find reasonable flights from Canada, and which other cities you would like to visit during the trip.

I managed to buy ticket for Vienna with presale code and then, out of nowhere, they've added the second show.

I haven't seen them since Revolution Radio tour, they've been my favorite band for 19 years now, a place I call home, safe zone.

So I sad fuck it, fuck the money situation, regret it later, you only live once, and bought the ticket for the second date as well 🥰 

I'm still kind of shocked with my impulsive action, but I'm fucking thrilled on the other hand

I flew into Frankfurt and got a Flixbus to Luxembourg when I went. You can get the bus directly from the airport. Otherwise just get a cheap flight to wherever you can in Europe and then get a Ryanair flight to Luxembourg or Frankfurt.

Yeah, so far my best option is to fly in/out of Lisbon or Edinburgh and fly round trip to Luxembourg from there 😅

Both beautiful cities! I think I remember that you've already been to Lisbon though? If you haven't been to Morocco, Tunisia or Turkey they all have direct flights to Luxembourg and Frankfurt and they're not too far away. You could get a budget airline flight out there once you're in Europe if flying directly from Canada is too expensive, or you could make a trip of it from Luxembourg. I haven't been to Tunisia or Turkey but I can give you some recommendations if you go to Morocco. It's also super cheap!

I just got tickets for Vienna night two! 🤩 I'm so excited, I haven't seen them since 2017. I hate how expensive Austria is, though. I would've loved to go to Amsterdam, but I go to grad school in Graz and I don't know where I'll be in July 🙄

My friend is a bad influence and persuaded me to do both Vienna nights as well as the Athens date 💀 so see you all there 😂 there were no FOS tickets left for night one so I got the VIP ticket, first time buying one of those so I’m interested to see if it’s worth it! 

I realised I’m busy on the day they’re rumoured to be doing Download, then they announced the second Vienna date, so that convinced me!

Is the strongest rumour that they'll be playing Friday? They are in Italy on the Sunday, so that would is my guess.🤔

I believe Friday is the rumour, heard a lot of ‘my mate who knows someone said this’ but I think just logically if they’re doing Italy on the Sunday, Friday Download gives them time to travel and rest.

Hotel right across the road from the venue booked, very good price if I'm honest. Not expecting much (Premier Inn standard I think, for my follow UK folk) but it'll be alright for a couple nights - hoping if I sit outside I can hear at least something on the first night

I've genuinely never been near an indoor venue where a gig has been taking place, without being inside attending. Can you hear much from outside?

Probably depends on the venue but I sat outside Wembley earlier this year and other than the sound of the crowd all I heard was a little bit of JoS and WMUWSE

But, I may be wrong.

It's not a bad theory, could be the 28th, right between Oslo and Luxembourg. And is consistent with them seeming to be aiming mostly for cities they didn't do in the last tour.

Yes!! Please let it be Finland. It has been almost 12 years since the last time they were here. Hella Mega Tour's headliner show in Helsinki got cancelled after 2021 reschedule. 😔
