Undómiel Posted August 9, 2024 Posted August 9, 2024 1981. It's so fucking catchy. Or Still Breathing... but I said that last time. 😅 2 Quote
stories and songs Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 I feel like when you’re a huge fan of an artist, it always feels weird to say one of your favorite songs is among their biggest hits, but I get so excited to this day every time I hear the beginning of Boulevard of Broken Dreams. At my concert the other night, I was only planning to record Are We the Waiting, Whatsername, and Good Riddance, but halfway through Boulevard I was like “I NEED to capture this” because it’s just such a magical song. 2 Quote

Me too! Boulevard of Broken Dreams was the first Green Day song I ever heard, right when it came out (I was 13). I had never heard of Green Day before that, but after hearing that song, I wanted to hear everything they ever made--and now here I am 20 years later LOL. It's such a beautiful song, and it spoke to me in a way nothing else had before. So it will always be my favorite just because of that. 2 Quote
