This song really got me the most. When listened to the record first time. 

Does remind me of my ex girlfriend in a beautiful way. Specially : "Did we take the time to make amends?" We met again a year after the breakup to talk about it. 

I hope se did dedicate a song to me. I think about her when listening to whatsername. I forget her, but not the time...

This is an ignorant comment tbh. Billie himself said it was inspired by Teenage Fanclub and The Pretenders.

Funny this song was just at the top thread today. Somehow this song has risen to the top for me. It’s my favorite song to listen to.

It may not be the one I want to hear at shows the most, yet but it, more so than others shows a side of them and B’s writing that hasn’t really been done before and it can take him (and therefore me) into his older age.

This is a good car song. Yeah they have a bunch of them like MDP but this one hits that GD spot while staying remaining and chill and while for sure at a show I want to lose my shit, I’m listening to them more at home and driving then while knocking you little people on your arses  … This song to me might be the not sure how distant Green Day.

Just a thought. It’s also just an awesome old old school song that sounds like Billies favorite breaks and progressions from the 50s and 60s and turn them into whatever he wants (all of the boys, Jason too because he does usually write the solos). Kevin did some ghost writing on this album as well btw.

Such a perfect ending to an era.    This video changes the song for me.  I've always felt like it was an incredibly sad song, but now its feel nostalgic, peaceful and almost happy.
