Omg you’re so right! Graffitia would fit in so well and really round out an entire xcellent Saviors album! Where would you guys put Graffitia on Saviors? I kinda like Fancy Sauve as the closer,  it maybe right before that one?

I Will do my playlist from this era in that way

I won't be able to pick up my copies this weekend as I will be going home, so I won't have them on hand until the weekend after.
Anyhow, thoughts on the tracks after the listening party below, but of the tracks not released yet, I really enjoyed "Goodnight Adeline", "Strange Days are Here to Stay", and "Suzie Chapstick".

Edit: Also, a lot of these do have an instrumental break, which isn't bad. But it's also possible that this is nothing new and I just haven't noticed it before.

Will be looking forward to hearing this through headphones and be able to dissect ones own thoughts a bit more.

Spoiler

Nothing new regarding TADIKM or LMNB - just that I'm excited to hear them live.

Bobby Sox: what a slowdown to start this off after the two prior songs, damn. oh wait, there are the guitars. Personally, I heard some desperation there.

OEB: There are a couple of lines here that I really like. I was just bopping my head around for this.

Dilemma: The growls don't stop being effective.

1981: I think I heard that one video clip from Montreal and nothing else after that. I like the verses quite a bit. I can see why the chorus is what it is.

Goodnight Adeline: Also a number of good lines in this. The key change (?)/ Billie going up in that final chorus? Love it.

Coma City: Lyrics.  The end also reminded me of "Murder City".

Corvette Summer: Changing the end a bit for the last one? Okay.

Suzie Chapstick: Billie being hip with the kids on social media? I really felt this one. "Sometimes everything just grows apart/Broken pieces from a busted heart."

Strange Days are Here to Stay: Oh gosh, another one that I personally felt.

Living in the 20s: Yup, 2020s, not 1920s. That first verse, and the chorus, damn. The image in the lyric book for this page hit. Also a part of this reminding me of Horseshoes and Hand grenades.

Father to a Son: Oh gosh, Billie

Saviors: Not my favorite but I can see why it's the title track. The message is there.

Fancy Sauce: Oh, this also starts out softer. Huh, a two part chorus. Yup, works for a closing tracks. I think I need a bit more time before I decide how I feel about it.

Do you think Saviors will be a single? Again, all title tracks have been singles

I wonder why there's no bridges on the ballads  suzie chapstick, goodnight adeline, father to a son, fancy sauce, all lack a bridge

Fr? I read they did a music video shoot days ago.

It’s possible 1981 is just promo for Punk Bunny Coffee and that’s what the video is for. Shooting a commercial?

That makes sense, after all the 1981 snippet was from punk bunny

And judging by what That Dude said, we should probably start album 15 speculation lol

And Black Eyeliner eventually became Church on Sunday

And "Kill Your Friends" more than 20 years later.

Hope not, it's too weak.

Be on the LOOKOUT! (Records) because an unpopular opinion is on the way

Tbh I started as a typical foam hater but went on to like it later on

A musical bridge is sometimes called a middle eight and it’s that bit that isn’t the verses or the chorus but bridges the rest together, sometimes just instrumentally, sometimes with lyrics. An example in Basket Case: “Grasping to control. So I better hold on.”

Like middle part of the song, a variation to the song which usually happens after the second chorus.

Like the part in 21 Guns “did you try to live on your own?” or “as I walked out on the ledge” in Still Breathing

I think so, may just be wishful thinking but would be INSANE to release an album and then not tour until June

I haven't heard the album. Only the instagram stories and the covers on YT, but Suzie Chapstick is just my type of song. Sounds like a mix of Weezer and 50's doo wop. I literally get chills from a cover, imagine the full version on HQ.

I just counted up the amount of preorders I have for this album...

 - 7 vinyl variants

 - 1 CD/shirt bundle

"Take me to the inn, Called the loony bin"
