I'm so fucking happy we finally got to hear that "Christie Road" re-recording after 3 whole decades. I was getting worried this would never see the light of day, but it sounds so beautiful. I was literally crossing my fingers that they would release the Outtakes on its own before the full release, Friday can't come sooner. 😭😭😭

Plus, getting to hear an early version of "J.A.R." and the "Walking the Dog" demo will be interesting too!

Reprise should have had them record the entirety of Kerplunk the day after tracking for Dookie wrapped. My god!

I Will make a dookie playlist (álbum + outtakes). Thinking how order them... i think Christie Road after welcome to paradise (like kerplunk), J.A.R between basket case and she, and on the wagon / tired of waiting for you as last two tracks closing the playlist

What makes you think that? Just curious. 
For me before hearing it I was pretty excited because 409 in my opinion, sounded way better when recorded in the Dookie Sessions. And hearing what it could sound like in my mind I was very eager to hear it.

Agree, can't wait for the "outtakes".

But at the time back in '91 when I put Kerplunk on the turntable and listened to it for the very first time,  it was like, what the fuck. I'd never heard anything like it, what was this amazing new sound, I was totally gobsmacked, hooked on Green Day for life and my life changed forever. So yes looking forward to hearing dookiefied version, but the original version still has a special place in my heart. ❤️

Yes thats the reason I dont listen to both albums that much. Its ok at home with headphones, but sounds bad in your car. But its ok, got its charm

Christie Road seems to be a bit slower than on Kerplunk. There's a different feel to it.

Tré's drumming is the highlight of these outtakes, although Walking the Dog is the same demo we have already heard.

Apparently someone on YouTube already leaked Christie Road. Either that or it's already out in other countries. I'd share it here, but after the One Eyed Bastard incident, I'm not so sure.
