Hey I wonder what people who bought the original CD just for good riddance thought of the rest of the record? Haha

Place inside my head- I already thought mike songs were super special, but holy crap! There’s something about his songs that are exceptional that make me wonder what if gd went total blink and let him rip 4/5 songs a record. Such a soulful musician.

tre polka- I love it, and proves they have been experimenting in a Beatles/beach boys fashion since the early days

Anyone else having problems ordering from the US store with PayPal? I'm getting the error message "Order total 0 is not allowed for PayPal", even though I have 3 items in the cart.

This reminds me of high school, like 1998, when people were already saying that they loved Green Day, but preferred "old" Green Day, precisely bc the only song off of Nimrod that they knew was Good Riddance. If only they had listened to the album in whole, and heard Take Back, Platypus, etc.

Black Eyeliner,

What a song !!

Absolutely love it. Love the tone of the guitar, the lyrics, everything!!

Amazing to see how BJ took that lyric for Church on Sunday.

Beautiful.

This is so freaking awesome. In my ideal world they would release something like this for each record.

Black Eyeliner = 'Kill Your Friends' before going to 'Church On Sunday'

Black Eye Liner is Kill Your Friends, Church on Sunday and....

Kiss you one last time is from another song, what is that?

Oh man.  So good.

All the others sound like Ramones, haha.

About to make a Playlist of just the demos.

Crazy how Nice Guy Finish Last would have been bad. Sometime changing just a little bit of lyrics can make all the differences.

Chain Saw is a cover right? So just two covers in the demos?

Kicking off the demos and hearing Nice Guys Finish Last starting without the drum intro really threw me off. The demos sound great!!

Yes, I'm sure your right. Chain Saw is cover originally by Ramones from 'Ramones' album released in 1976. Then on course 'Alison' is cover originally from Elvis Costello.

This was me.  My mom and I heard Good Riddance on the way to school and she ordered the cd.

I put that sucker in my little blue boombox and WOW.

Had the same cd ever since and it still sounds great, despite being the most played thing in my collection.

Credits say written by Green Day.

It sounds like a Ramones track, maybe the KKK Took My Baby Away?

It's by The Ramones. So yeah 2 covers.

Honestly the live CD is my favorite. The demos are okay.
