I think it’s the album name. Why would they purchase that domain as a lyric to a song or purchase a domain for a single song.

He wrote the riff. There was an interview with the Interrupters back when it came out where they told the story of how it was written. Billie came to them with that riff suggesting it would make a good song for them and they ran with it.

So the emergency alert on our phones turned us into 28 Days Later zombie according to my friend, Tony.  Kind of like Stephen King's Cell as well.   

Green Day need about it and this song is by Zombie Green Day, telling us "We Told Ya So!"

Should have gotten out from Warner when they had the chance. Crazy a band as big as Green Day can’t make their own choices.

Ngl, naming the song American Dream rather than The American Dream is Killing Me doesn't seem like a great idea to me. I mean, at that point, you're basically asking people to compare it to American Idiot. Yeah, it's going to happen anyway but I think they should at least try to distinguish it from AI/21CB a little bit

If they're going to name it American Dream, maybe they could have made the title mean something and have it be a sort of continuation of themes talked about in American Idiot and American Eulogy, maybe try to link the 3 songs together in some way. Could be kinda cool. I mean American Eulogy refers to the death of the American dream, right? And both tracks deal with themes like paranoia, hysteria, media & static

Ehhh I’m not so sure the blame should go to Warner here. Most likely shouldn’t release an album until the whole tour, promo spots, and conflicts are locked in an ready to go
