Why are people assuming that it's OEB playing in the teaser?

Yes, OEB could be on the album. Yes, it could've been reworked for the album so it's not just a Pink rip off. But I don't get why people hear that guitar and instantly think "Oh yeah that must be a reworking of OEB". I don't even see them releasing OEB as a single

I've asked real world people about Green Day and none of them even knew Green Day did anything after American Idiot.  That's 20 years since since casual fan/average person even thought about them.   

It's unfortunate, but it's like the whole world collectively agreed when Billie questioned whether they could ever top it and tuned out immediately. 

I'm not sure there is any reversing this, no matter what.  Maybe they should have released Cigarettes and Valentines, had it be a moderate success and soldiered down an alternate path.  But they went down a boulevard of broken dreams.

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.  AKA checking GDA every morning thinking I'll learn something about the album and not just read 3 pages of nonsense that actually just makes me dumber

I don't know but the music in the Reverb video doesn't sound like a Green Day instrumental. The guitars and the snare sound different.

Thing is, you can't keep away. You've just gotta keep coming back. You try and resist it. But you just can't. It's like a drug you just gotta have your daily fix of GDC.

You sit there looking at your moby (cell), your not logged in to GDC. What's the point, nothing will have happened. You look again, you stand up walk round sit down again, you start tapping your fingers on the table, you fold your arms, you start biting your nails, your starting to get agitated, your clenching yor teeth. 

What if something has happened, there's been a major development, everyone is talking about it but you don't know, coz your not logged in to GDC.

It's to much, you can't stand it anymore, you grab your phone you login get to the page, and guess what's happened, see what you have missed....
