I was going to clarify who is singing from Viva Death but they have two vocalists and they don't explain who is singing what.    Either Scott Shiflett or Trevor Keith.  And some guy named Chad makes noises.   He's the baseball bat guy, I guess.

I can't believe I just read through 4 pages of blink 182 discourse and it somehow ended up getting worse. How do you have less to talk about when we are like two weeks away from new Green Day? Some of you guys seriously need to go touch grass. Or call a fucking therapist. Frankly, you should do both.

Did we already discuss what exactly we think will be announced on Oct 24? Nobody threw out the possibility of them announcing on Oct 24 that a single will be released another 3 weeks from then right?? lol

The GreenDay.fm article confirmed it’s a single drop, and I wouldn’t expect anything else but that. They wouldn’t give a three week date just for another announcement

I’ve been a fan of Green Day since 1994 and a fan of Blink-182 since 1997, and I never understood the comparisons.
 

To me, they play different styles of music. Plus, until recently, I thought of Billie Joe as a deep and serious songwriter, whereas Mark and Tom wrote mostly fun and/or funny songs, give or take a few deep ones.

Offspring are working on new music but while they say they want a quicker turnaround, 9 years is a shorter wait than last time, lol.  But let's not devolve into arguing about which album is their best or if they owe us something.     

Green Day 14 is nearly upon us and I can't wait to read the track list.   I might even listen to the music while I'm at it. 

I hope that most of us enjoy it, even if that means sacrificing the the things I love from Trilogy and Foam.

They will announce an announcement for an announcement of the first letter of the first word of the album title which will be announced in 51 weeks.
