Green Day's most commonly used word in lyrics is TIME.   

Is this Billie's real bedroom?   It feels kind of AI-ish. 

Who filmed the video?  

Where can I get that clock?   Green Day nerds gotta Green Day nerd.

How many polka dots are on the pillow case?       This isn't Billie's real bedroom is it?  

The guitar riff sounds like a Rancid riff.

One Eyed Bastard has been frankenstiened into a different song, possibly 1981.   

Basketcase Part 2 just might be real.

And by both sides, I mean boneheads who like Dookie on one side and us sophisticated genius's that love FOAM and Trilogy for the high concept dregidetory art pieces they are on the other side......

Just kidding....about the bonehead part anyway.    I think if Green Day would have replaced "Stab You in the Heart" and "Ready Fire Aim" with One Eyed Bastard and ARt of the Deal with Devil, FOAM would have been perfect.   Those two songs are a little skippy.    The rest of the album?   Probably Green Day's best album.

Zombie calendar probably just ties into Halloween, but I would love if this becomes a walking dead spoof video with billie getting confronted by maga zombies outside his house just like back in the usa video did with the 80s horror movie they live

I hope there’s more teases leading up to the 24th. I’m starved for new Green Day content (and hopefully better than FOAM). The clip played in that video gave me heavy 21CB vibes to the point where I almost couldn’t tell if it was from there or not.

I mean the song was never meant to be leaked, and it sounds more upbeat and totally different vibe going on. l'm willing to bet the chorus has been completely overhauled probably  a new bridge as well it will definitely feel like new material for a majority of fans out there.

Pure speculation I know but, as Dookie 30th has been released ahead of its anniversary Feb 1, 2024,  would be a cool date to release the new album?

Thinking about how this album could be not so much American Idiot part two, which was a coming of age story, kind of “life during wartime” thing, but 21st Century Breakdown part two checking in on the further deterioration of society.

American Dream and “The American dream is killing me” evoke these lyrics:

“Oh dream, America dream, I can’t even sleep from the light’s early dawn

Oh scream, America scream, believe what you see from heroes and cons”

21CB contains some of his most brilliant and insightful lyrics. Can we just talk about the clever way he turns the national anthem on its head when he says “from the light’s early dawn”?

In the Star Spangled Banner you wake up and see the flag in the daylight and it inspires hope (“Oh say can you see, by the dawn’s early light”)

Flipping “dawn’s early light” to “light’s early dawn” because the narrator is up all night with worry and feeling hopeless is such a subtle but powerful statement.  He does bring the hope back at the end with See The Light, calling back to the theme. 21CB is packed with goodies like this.

I’m excited for American Dream and the ways in which he might play around with these ideas in a way that feels current.
