Off topic, but i just found out that Rob Covallo was not the producer of Warning album.. it was the first album produced by Greenday themselves, although Rob was credited as executive producer.

I always thought Revrad was the first album produced by the boys

Let's talk lead singles.   Will it be the standard fast paced, 3:30ish, anthem that all their lead singles have been, or will they break the mold?

Will we even get a second single, because Green Day aren't a huge deal these days?

Perhaps they have been retweeking the lead single rather than the whole album, because they know the lead single is all important and may be all that most people hear.

I would love to see everyone spending the holidays separately. For years “80” is a toxic influence and leach yet it’s ok for fans to not like the son or Mike Dirnt’s wife? I don’t know why it seems 80 is put on a pedestal. I hope there’s finally some distance and good riddance to 80. Hopefully there’s no references of that person on the new record. Youngblood was an annoying song. Nothing new to write about such an uninspired influence.

I just found this Reddit thread and it’s a really good read! Makes a lot of observations and describes what he thinks what we might be in for with the 1972 album, although he acknowledges the possibility of 1972 just being a codename
