Didn't Billie say in an interview in the last few years that the new songs he was working on were "funny" or something like that?

I'd be interested to see if anything like that appears on this album

I hope Billie changed his mind about feel good hits of the year and long songs. 

A feel good, 13 minute smack fest is what we need next year.

I also hope we get some of the rumory songs like Ruse of the Rooms and Coffee and Repent.

It feels like 1972 is going to be Triogy-esque, and I'm really excited about that.  

Like Uno and Tre had a baby and that baby listened to a TON of American Idiot.    

Maybe even some warning and nimrod.  

and also, the baby snuck out and listened to FOAM.

No offense, but I really hope "the baby" stays farrrrrr away from FOAM. While I love FOAM simply because it is a Green Day album, I can see it always being my least favorite of theirs. Eeeeeeek.

Is 1972 ACTUALLY a movie?! Those kids look like they could easily play younger versions of Billie, Mike, and Tre.

Wait is it?? At first I assumed it was just a music video but Lee Kirk wrote/directed Ordinary World

It's either a movie about the band? Or if it's about 1972 maybe a music video?

Could it be the first music video? I said on other thread I hope they aren’t playing young Billie, Mike and Tre in a movie, but if the album is really called 1972, could it be a bit autobiographical?

if Green Day releases anything near or even on my bday (April 10th), I will be so annoying and will never shut up about it. 

EDIT: HOLY SHIT JUST SAW THOSE PHOTOS. all of the kids look a little like Billie and Tre (sorry Mike) when they were younger. I'm guessing it's for a music video and not an actual movie or tv series. I'm hyped either way.
