I think they take a break after the F1 Show and go on tour next year. Maybe Australia - Asia - USA and Europe again. Time will tell when they release the new album.

Expand Makes sense, since they were in RAK to presumably record the 6 track EP, then they went back to continue with a full length album, then put the finishing touches (as far as we know) in LA!!!

Expand Yes and now someone here said they done with Recording and tour seems just make sense. Hope it‘s not getting too expensive. Probably skip next years Rock am Ring for the first time since 2013 because of ticket price and I‘m sure the line up won‘t be as good as this year (especially without Green Day). So i can spend all my money for the tour (if shows aren‘t too far away)

Popular Post AlissaGoesRAWR Posted September 20, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 20, 2022 I know my personal well-being has 0% to do with the band's album release cycle, but man, I could really use some new music right now. 13 1
pacejunkie punk Posted September 20, 2022 Posted September 20, 2022 @Gwen Stacy had a good idea I wonder if we could get a lot of fans at the last three shows to hold up signs that say "Play me something from 1972!" Maybe by the last show they could decide to? Didn't we successfully pull off a sign campaign in the past with Awesome As Fuck? 4

Popular Post PluckyJokerhead Posted September 20, 2022 Popular Post Posted September 20, 2022 Just some signs rallying them to play a single live would be so cool, they tend to have a spot in the encore for a slight wild card (All The Young Dudes in London for example) so if they noticed enough people asking I bet they could stick it at the end, I'm sure they must've rehearsed the songs extensively already and would be such a great way for them to build hype. Not entirely sure this fanbase has quite the same people power than it did during Awesome As Fuck days, though. Even coming out next year means it's the shortest break between albums since Nimrod/Warning, right? So I think we definitely should be glad the boys are still churning music out so quickly especially considering we also had the Network album etc. And if what we've seen so far is true, with Rob and how much effort they've put in, I do think it'll be worth however long the wait ends up being. 5

Expand It depends when it releases in 2023. There was a 3 year 4 month gap between 21CB and Uno, and Nimrod/Warning had almost exactly a 3 year gap. 1972 would have to be released around May or earlier to be the shortest since Nimrod/Warning 1
