One of these days, somebody gonna drop a "one week" and nail it. Hats off to whomever you are in advance.

I'm calling it now, it's gonna in a week. Any week. Could happen next week, could happen in a week 5 months from now. Any week this year, it could happen.

If they are doing the handclaps and they’re not just cheesily simulated, chances are they’ll sound much better

I was a teenage teenager had fake crowd cheering added to it right?

Yeah if they do that again, I’m deleting my account and throwing out my CDs

Were they just synth sound effects?

Yeah there’s a plug-in that generates claps to a cadence that I’m very aware Butch walker used on the last album

Off topic, but which songs were they used in?

He's the one they bring in to do all the percussion work, handclaps, tambourines, and 'HEY'

Also featured on a huge number of pop songs, ever heard Outkast's 'Hey Ya' ? Who do you think was singing all those 'hey''s? That's right. Captain Hey.

Definitely during the 2nd verse of East Jesus Nowhere and on American Idiot, I think it was Extraordinary Girl but I‘m not sure right now, have to listen to it again

Say Goodbye had some hand claps in it. They're definitely in Extraordinary Girl too, and I love how they augment the rhythm in that song.

Oh yes, that's right! Maybe it's my general dislike of handclaps (don't care who does them) that made me forget they were there

True and can't say I liked them there either. But no, I don't think it's fair to blame the handclaps on Walker tbh, as much as I find them wholly unnecessary 99% of the time.
