Kind of odd choices to pick as the worst songs. Cause I think they're all considered to be some of the better trilogy tracks. The demo of 99 Revolutions is far superior to the version on Tré. Stay the Night and Let Yourself Go are easily considered to be in the top 10 trilogy songs. Let Yourself Go especially, has an energy that isn't seen throughout the rest of the trilogy.

If your only issue is the repetitive choruses, there's a bunch of other older GD songs that you should have the same issue with like Why Do You Want Him, 86, Haushinka, Are We The Waiting, Platypus. Repetition isn't necessarily a bad thing

Yeah I don't disagree that repetition is necessarily a bad thing, but when it's a more generic version of classic rock, it just comes off as immature and annoying. I used to like those songs, but I don't think they hold up very well in comparison to pretty much everything else they've ever done.

Yeah can't decide whether Nimrod or Insomniac. I think production-wise a little more Nimrod, but instrumentally there's a bit that reminds of this part in Stuck With Me:

Can anyone tell what they’re saying at the end?

I would bet to double all the money I have that Rob Cavallo is the producer. That’s absolutely his voice. I wasn’t excited for this record at all since I hated REVRAD and FOAM. Now, I’m very excited

He defenitely knows that we are discussing about „the head“. Mike is also teasing. It is getting bigger and bigger every day.

Forgot to ask about this. Did Mike post something about it too? What was the Mike tease?

I was never really excited for foam but this 1972 business has me feeling like a kid waiting for Christmas morning to get here.

The story with Rob's head and video which he took down very quickly certainly seems like a definite nod to GDC rather than just to his general IG followers. But who knows.

Especially since he put 1972 specifically above Rob’s head scar!!!

To put this into a greater perspective, do we still think the fall or late fall release schedule makes sense? The teasers do seem to be ramping up now, though going by previous experience we could just as easily be in for a prolonged period of proverbial crickets (maybe especially so once the tour starts). Personally, I think a release after the hella mega tour dates still makes the most sense, but I'd be interested to hear some other opinions on this.

Yes especially if they are still in the studio. You’re a minimum of six months from any release

I wonder with Rob Cavallo (probably) producing... Could we see Chris Lord-Alge mixing again?
