I'd be a bit embarrassed admitting I'd got two guitars that way! Surely the band would prefer as many different people as possible to have that chance? I posted those pics a few pages ago! https://www.instagram.com/p/CZ8WnkXrIEp/?utm_medium=copy_link https://www.instagram.com/p/CZ7tj85PtyB/?utm_medium=copy_link https://www.instagram.com/p/CZ7hnqGvRqV/?utm_medium=copy_link 5 Quote
jengd Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 @Rumpelstiltskin2000 I agree with you, she should have let someone get the chance but I can forgive her if the excitement proved too much. Billie seems to usually remember many of the people he brings up -amazingly - and I’m sure there is footage of him saying to someone, nope they’ve already been up before. 1 Quote
Popular Post ThranaM Posted February 14, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 14, 2022 Listening to I Think We're Alone Now live infront of thousands of people kinda to me feels like a celebration of were we are now. The song really connects to the pandemic to me because it was the first No fun Monday song in march 2020 Like "hey, this song is about being locked up, alone, because of a virus, but now we are able to be togehter again and enjoy life" 4 1 Quote

Everything after GR was spontaneous Awesome! This means Revolution Radio MAY get some representation this time around and that maybe Billie Joe is still not in that "feel good song of the year" vibe just yet. Or the "feel bad" vibe of FOAM for that matter. He wants to ride the fence, and that's cool. Now us FOAM fans - we're doomed! At least with the Trilogy, nearly all the songs got played once or twice. Revolution Radio got live debuts of a good chunk....but FOAM. Dear sweet, lovable FOAM.....less than 20 performances overall and nearly all were the title track. Let's assume this is because most people didn't like Trilogy and FOAM that much. If ALBUM 14 is well received, do we think Green Day will start playing new songs live again? Because if Green Day puts out a new album in 2022 or 2023 and yet only plays songs up to 2009.........they are still slaying the live arena, but something needs to be corrected. Either make new music you want to play to the masses or......I dunno. Make sure you're not disconnected from THE NETWORK? 4 Quote

Popular Post Slave To The Network Posted February 15, 2022 Popular Post Posted February 15, 2022 I still think it's absolutely criminal that this show was not pro-shot and televised/streamed online. Think of the amazing footage! This is the longest show they've played in years and it pulled out all the stops and included deep cuts and spontaneity. Whoever the people are for making the decision not to broadcast this, I wish them to be forever plagued with an itch they can't reach and embarrassing no reason boners (since they're probably rich white men). There also seems to be a dearth of professional photographs too. It's not even been a week yet, though. Hopefully more things will surface for us as time goes on in the near future. 5 2 Quote

Did they all go home after Miley? No photographs and I only saw one print review and it was mostly about Miley’s set. Green Day closed the show which made them technically the headliner 3 Quote
