The Youtube Channel linked to Greg's project has been renamed lot of times ahah firstly it was it's personal one, so he use to post random things like the lovely Rocky singing, then he renamed it with the name of his previous band and now with his new one ahah 

 

By the way the "hint hint" thing I guess it's not related to the Upside Downers, could be new green day music? I hope so ahah

I suspect this isn't going to be anything substantial. Every other side project has had some hype before release. To just drop this with very little prior acknowledgment would be unusual. Maybe Billie's not doing vocals.

I interpreted the “hint hint” thing as exactly what it sounded like - presents for his big birthday - not as a hint to fans for anything.

I thought the presents were meant to be not just for himself, I mean, he's not a 5 year old... so I'm thinking perhaps he wants to celebrate by releasing some new music.

I got way too hyped for this. Nothing too exciting. It’s cool but not as cool as I thought it would be. I thought it was going to be a new band with new original music and songs. Looks like recordings a long time ago at a covers show? 

Unless this is exciting:

“What is the meaning of this? Will there be more? Mysteries, the fun of surprise shows and loud sounds abound! Let’s start with some old favorites and see where things go.”

So more waiting? Better than nothing. And the new GD tour hopefully will be pretty exciting. I guess “See where things go.”

I called and asked if they could tell me which date shows the tracks are recorded from, they said all they know is that it’s from a Golden Bull 2019 show.

I’d really like to know which, since if it was recorded at the 2019-07-20 show, I was there and would NEED to have a copy.

Otherwise, I’d probably pass.

The Del Gatos cover the Longshot and Green Day covers that the Longshot covers which is nice. I like that. Well… Just Fell for You I think as far as GD covers go?

It would be cool if the Upside Downers did originals too. I guess wait and see. A long wait since Green Day will be on tour for the next long while. I’m excited to see the new Green Day set list for this tour. Hopefully it will be a lot more exciting and diverse than the Rev Rad tour but I would think probably not since it’s such a big triple headlining stadium tour.

Hopefully Del Gatos/Upside Downers will do original stuff and/or secret shows and fun stuff like that. I think maybe all of those band members are on the tour maybe fun stuff will come out if it.

Hey there! It cost $15, and everybody in my 30-person 30-min time slot bought one. It was limited to one vinyl per person until noon. After that time, presumably you could buy more. It cost $10 to reserve a spot in line (safety restrictions for number of people in the store at a time), and they credited that $10 to your purchase. I can’t find the vinyl on sale on the store’s website, so it may be sold out or only offered in store. 
 

They said that the vinyl will be sold online later in a different color variant, however. This version was limited to 500. Hope this helps! 😎
