GMA's website says "Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong, Weezer, and Fallout Boy" on the Summer Concert Series lineup for Friday. Nothing about an interview. I just checked it yesterday too. Where was it stated that Billie's not going to play? That sounds to me a lot like he's going to be performing.

It’s on my TV where I record it, under the episode description.  It says “Billie Joe Armstrong, Pete Wentz, Rivers Cuomo. Fall Out Boy and Weezer perform.”  The three listed first indicates they are guests for an interview.  Then the performers are listed.

Oh, that's weird. I'm going to go by GMA's official site for the lineup, though. If it's just an interview, we'll still get to see Billie so that's fine, but I'm hoping for something more.

It would be nice to see some Green Day though. It's gonna be weird for BIllie to be there and not play like he's only there to chaperone the little FOB guys.

Will he even be there though? If this is in NY and he’s rehearsing in California, why fly out for an interview? The others are performing so they could be there and he could be via webcast.

yeah, green day still should play even if it’s just 1/3 of the band. they were in the promotional stuff as well so a lot of people bought tickets to see them play. kinda disappointing

Don't worry, once the true time comes we're going to get hyped up for weeks with an actual planned performance, for it to then be a repeat of the living room acoustic Graffitia, or a single song from MTV World Stage.
