My theory is that the network is going to come out and as soon as they're about to play green day will come out and sabotage them and unmask them to reveal panicland dressed as the network. Then green day will take their instruments and play Here Comes The Shock

I very much want them to keep this little joke an open secret. To reveal themselves in some “Ta-dah!” move would be cringe because 99% of the audience doesn’t know anything about The Network and wouldn’t care.  Unless you’ve been following this thing for years it would make no sense. Viewers would go “Huh? Whatever.” This isn’t The Masked Singer.

When Jimmy announces the guests at the beginning of each show he always says a very brief thing about them. I wonder if he will mention anything about green day or just say something about The Network making their Tonight Show debut

I think like in the show bio he’ll make some comment like, “These guys have been mistaken for Green Day but they’re TOTALLY not!” That would be fine. Just for heaven’s sake don’t unmask
