On a side note: All the theories around what kind of sound will/should come next are obviously complete baseless fandom fantasies, BUT I have to say, in some way FOAM might actually have primed us (and the wider Green Day public) for another concept album, whichever shape it may take. As much as I love American Idiot, I didn't actually want the last album to be a concept album (and certainly not just another AI/21CB). Now on the other hand (and maybe this also has to do with the turbulent last few days/weeks/months of the Trump presidency and the roller-coaster year with the pandemic), I'm more than ready for one! 

Be that as it may though, it's really cool that we're getting a new song so soon and I'm really excited, no matter what the song ends up sounding like!

now I've got this fictional chorus stuck in my head -  "HERE THE SHOCK, MARIA / HERE COMES THE SHOCK!"   

The guitar tone I'm hearing in my head is a blend of Revolution Radio and "Maria", but with just the right amount of American Freaking Idiot as well.

Based on the art I'm thinking this isn't just something FOAMF-esque (not that I would mind if that was the case). As others have mentioned it seems like a homage to AC/DC, so I'm expecting something a little more meaty and rock sounding.

Then again, FOAMF was supposedly a look into the history of rock and roll so maybe that does fit with it just being a rejected track from that. Either way I'm excited!
