AnonymWarnerGermany Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Im getting used in being dissapointed in gd's new stuff
Fredes Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Terribly generic and forgettable. At least is not FOAM-level bad.
monkeyupinspace Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 nothing special. again there's handclaps and it's very repetitive for 2 and a half minutes. and what the hell is that video.
Little Boy Named Booze Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 I just don't like the part right before the chorus. And the repetitive Chorus.... Overall it's meh
ColinOr Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 It sounds like a b-side. Gives me Lights Out, Hearts Collide vibes.
okotavio Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Given that I didn’t expect they would release a groundbreaking song for a NHL thing, I love it! It’s fun with a cool, raw, simple sound
AnonymWarnerGermany Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Just now, ColinOr said: It sounds like a b-side. Gives me Lights Out, Hearts Collide vibes. Lights out and Hearts Collide are way better and more interesting. Ive listened to this song twice and already dont care about it anymore.
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 This is Revolution Radio but worse
þjáningu Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Seems like they put more effort into the network stuff than they do here hopefully this is just a one off song and do something better in the future
Als5678ors2 Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 It's ok. Sounds even more generic than those NHL songs.
Christian's Inferno! Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 I still haven't listened to the new Network album. Partly cause I've been busy but also because FOAM was mediocre and I didn't really care for the first Network album I hope this doesn't make it onto their next album, whenever they decide to release it. (At this point I don't think this is the beginning of a new album cycle. This song would be a very underwhelming song to start with)
DookieLukie Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Very repetitive. Green Day can write these kind of songs in their sleep. I like the energy, feel, and instrumentation but it's nothing new or unique. Step down from MM2020 pt. 2.
concretedream Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 there are so many new Network songs that could've been released as GD singles instead. Theory of Reality, Degenerate, Cancer is the New Black, Threat Level Midnight, etc. It almost feels like they're messing with us at this point
jengd Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 not really sure what to think this early, feels a bit like a disposable jingle but it’s catchy and fun seems a little disjointed at one point
StillBreathing Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Worse chorus than Sex Drugs and Violence 😕 the rest of the song isn’t too bad

jumpsalty Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 I liked it until that sniff toward the end tacky 😂 tbf though it’s fine for filler and it is super catchy. Love the drums too
cabot_girl Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 More stoked about the rereleases of the Pinhead Gunpowder albums...
Red Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Tre Shouting "Ya doin it fuckin' wrong!" at the end. A nod to Foxboro Hot Tubs, but also might be his opinion on the song? 🤣

There’s a few moments where it gets a bit weird with stops and starts, but I didn’t expect anything more than something a bit jingle-esque for an NFL exclusive. Think it’s a grower!

MaxGD Posted February 20, 2021 Posted February 20, 2021 Good song for getting people pumped up. Seems like a good time Green Day song. Nothing really new but is miles better than foam for the mixing alone.
