There is absolutely no way the NHL would use the song prior to its scheduled premiere. Warner/Reprise and Green Day would be upset.

Now, I know the new song is set to officially premiere at roughly the same point during the Lake Tahoe game. But I wonder if it was a small tease before the real deal. The commentators referenced it before getting back to the game, but didn't mention the artist by name.
