I think they’re gonna play the really basic shit. Nothing off of FOAMF unless it’s the title track or maybe JOaH. I’m thinking they’re gonna stick to 21CB, Dookie, (maybe even RevRad). I think 21 Guns, Basket Case and When I Come Around will be in the question, sadly.

I just can't imagine that they would play a song that is a complete unknown to all but a small number of fans. Unless they're planning to put it out as a single. I wondered if they might do Fire Ready Aim, although I would not be happy about it, but I don't think the NHL would be happy. It seems like it would be something relevant to the event though. What's a classic GD song that would be appropriate for a sports event?

What management would ever let a band play an unknown song in front of a national audience though? Gotta be realistic.

Why would management have a say in what song is played?

This is also a band that was supposed to play "When I Come Around" at the MTV Awards in '94 and instead played Armitage Shanks (yet to be released then) on TV.
 

Also, They played "Oh Yeah" at New Years 2020 ... wasn't exactly a "hit" song.

With the election over and Dookie just hitting another anniversary, I imagine this is gonna be a Basket Case performance or maybe a FOAMF performance to remind people Hella Mega might still happen given what Rivers recently said about the tour.

Management 1000% has a say in what they play here, they are one of the biggest rock bands in the world not snotty 22 year olds any more.

 

Also they were trying hard to promote oh yeah and it did hit #1, despite how lowly I think of it
