And yeah Art of the Deal should have been on FOAM.   Overall this album is as daring and experimental as I wish Green Day was. It’s like FOAM dipped it’s toe in but was afraid to jump in. This album takes a fucking cannonball ❤️ I’m so happy

I'm so excited for this release that I had to reappear here. Great songs, great that they decided to further experiment musically. Surely some people will be scared right away by this. I'm also surprised that you all only consider some of the songs as FOAM outtakes, as I clearly hear songs that could be outtakes from other records (the Trilogy, MM2020, Cigs & Val, or even older records). The most punk songs are reminiscent of the Misfits and the Ramones, so I kinda see that they could be from Nimrod or, as I said before, the lost album Cigarettes and Valentines. Of course they were probably reworked to fit in the sonic aesthetic of this record. Finishing it right now and will probably be hearing it 'til the end of the year. I'm so happy that they took this turn (which seemed clearly impossible until they announced it) and I hope they continue to experiment with their music, as it seems they are having lots of fun and of course, at this time in their career, they've got nothing to prove.

They're both pretty awful. Super disappointed. MM2020 is far superior to Part 2. Only about 6 songs I actually enjoy. The fanboying/girling here is out of control.

Cheer up! Let people be excited, it's 2020

Yeah it seems like to me FOAM was a bit all hammer fisted in its influences where it was just 50s and then 60s and they did that backbeat in junkies in a high and it was calling back to those eras but not like affording it’s subtleties And it was kind of generic with these songs you can pin point like the exact influences and how they have used it to make With the late 70s new wave type thing network sounds and to make their sound it feels like they found the direction they were looking for with FOAM. They clearly did their homework and managed to create somethings that’s their own

I haven't listened yet but hopefully will later. Want to give it a proper headphones listen.

Why was I able to sing along to "Threat level Midnight" on the Side D teasers? Was that already on a promo clip before?

Yes. Maybe even better. I'll see how these hold up.

Not really. If Roshambo is your bar, it's going to fall WELL below it.
