The more I hear Are You Listening the more I love it. What a different sound for them but so classic and cool too. I would have taken this over FRA, Stab You in the Heart or Teenage Teenager any day, and it would have fit well.

I think that’s just how they sounded, they were raw demos. What someone did was basically what you do when you master a recording, just minor tweaks nothing to alter it.

The biggest difference is the pitch being shifted higher, not the compression, etc. and that’s not something they typically do unless for effect.

It's not at all normal to pitch shift when mastering.. If this is real after all I think it was done intentionally

I can't believe people are still doubting this leak. The Ultimate Test is real for the sole reason that Billie's self-steem could not handle being one-uped by a fan twice in the same year. This time, they made damn sure that the only people taking away their spotlight was themselves and that's why they feel confident trolling about it.
