(Not) Green Day's really stepped up since the first round. They knew they couldn't play the "it's not us" card by itself. So they gave us new songs and Panicland (yes, I'm suggesting that that was planned).

 

At the end of the day, it's all real. Everything is real. It's all a game meant to mess with our minds. Don't you see, it's all real.

While I don’t believe Panicland is involved I have been a subscriber to the theory that this is a next level official mind game for the fans that already know the whole Who Are The Network game. That’s why even though a lot of this channel’s shenanigans are obviously sketch I’m not giving up on TUT.

I know I’m banging a well worn drum now, but Ultimate Test (I refuse to use the tut acronym anymore) is either the arrival of the AI singularity or the real deal. The arrival of AI (as in artificial intelligence and not American Idiot) takeover of humanity would be fitting with the Network theme, so maybe they’re playing 4D chess. 

Best possible headphones= Aside from everything I’ve written about how legit this is, that’s some serious production and resources invested in the song, well beyond the reach of an aspirational cover. That’s a major label level production full way through, never mind the talent and ability to pull it off. While tech is way beyond what it was even a few years ago, Ultimate Test production is way, way beyond the resources of a random/ lucky fake cover drop. And never mind it’s hallmark BJA/Mike/Tre  stylistically throughout. And the songwriting is legendary  

It’s them, no doubt. It’s so funny and interesting  how life has evolved, I never thought I’d be so honed in on figuring out if a new song was a deep fake. I guess that’s 2020!

I am now very VERY upset I didn't go to any Tubbies shows. Not only did I miss the Tubbies, I missed the makeout sessions with Billie and Kevin!

It’s not that good quality, anyone that knew what they were doing could get this done with basic recording equipment. I’m not dissing the song or anything but the recording is nothing special.

So I heard whatever song that was uploaded and taken down. That doesn't sound like Billie to me. At first, maybe? But if it were to come on the radio randomly I would think "Geez someone is trying hard to be BJA." That one doesn't convince me. I think TUT is more convincing than whatever that was.

Haha, I love seeing this forum at this engagement level. I sign on and off through the years and always love it when it’s firing like this. 
 

I also can’t believe this forum made us doubt Ultimate Test at some level. I personally went from “this is amazing”, to “what did I miss”, to “no doubt, it’s the best song since 21CB”. I’m so happy about this song.
