I was wondering the same thing. I’m guessing either Rolling Stone is preparing a piece on them or she is tagging them to bring it to their attention (although they have publicists so not sure why she’d have to do that). I made a Google Drive folder of all the new "Network" songs we are getting clips or the full songs of. It will be updated as we get new material and it is titled the rumored album name "Sparky Renegade"

Lots of interesting stuff all around. Also, one tidbit about the Warner copyright block on TUT (although new uploads have slipped onto YouTube today)- as one earlier poster mentioned, “The Network” doesn’t appeared to be registered, and I also searched “The Ultimate Test” and didn’t find one either. As an earlier poster pointed out, “Green Day” is registered to Green Day, Inc. as of 1994 and they have numerous other filings as well. 
 

So, since the Network name and TUT song title aren’t registered, does that mean their only claim to copyright protection is for the music itself? Which would mean, of course, it’s been recorded by a Warner artist?

or B. Whoever made it flagged it to further troll everyone.

The Network is definitely registered. They wouldn't go without doing so. I think it just hasn't made its way to the database for one reason or another. 

In addition, trademark violations aren't within the scope of DMCA. It's called the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. They're different things. Youtube doesn't take content down on alleged trademark violations, so use of the name in and of itself is irrelevant in any case, registered or not. 

 

As established before, there are three realistic scenarios - 1. Warner took it down because it's real. 2. Someone else took it down as a goof and put Warner's name, cause it's actually really easy to do that. 3. Warner took it down even though it's fake since there are no consequences for doing so even though that's illegal.

I feel like in the verse he sounded atleast a bit like he did in Too Much Too Soon, maybe?  Something made me think of the song.

I've been thinking, and I think that the wiki page is real. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a real wiki page just to fuel the flame. If course we all think it's fake, but chances are it's another tidbit for us to catch.

If he was really trying so hard to throw us off, why would he come back to his well known fake persona from 2003? Why wouldn’t he wear gloves with his disguise?  He doesn’t seem to be making much of an effort.
