Each time I listen to it, I get a greater understanding of why people think it's Billie, but I'm not sold on that at all. My biggest issue with Green Day right now is their attitude about it. They're trying to act like those aging rock n roll stars that live dangerous and drink and all that but Green Day never was about that. They were always the outcasts and always will be.

That's why this weird fucked up shit they are doing with the network now feels more real to me than everything they've done after 21stcb.

Maybe it says that because the network are the disposable hero’s, as in they have nothing to lose so they can say what they want
