I'm totally fine with the tarantulas. I have a phobia of crickets so they got me too in a different way. Fuck The Network!

@Laly Right? Spiders a cool. I even recognized some of the species in that video. For example, the Martinique tree spider (also called Antilles pinktoe tarantula). The babies are electric blue and the adults have a beautiful metallic green thorax and fuzzy, velvet red abdomens. Very pretty spiders. I wrote an article about them once if anyone's interested.

I have a strong phobia of spiders but seeing pictures/videos of tarantulas doesn't bother me so much since they're way beyond "normal" spiders to the point of almost looking like small mammals and I won't see one irl so it's almost like they're not real.  So I approve

That's what I don't like about them: bugs the size of small mammals. Not squashable.

Clearly I’ve missed a lot but I would have wholeheartedly agreed.

I didn’t enjoy watching the video, but the song sounds really cool. They really pull off this modern new wave style.

Spiders are ok, but I strongly prefer when tegenaria and anyone bigger stay away from me.

Ooh, those giant house spiders are quite creepy.  They don't bother me as much as the Pholcus phalangioides, though. They're so brittle and spindly looking. Though I did have that one named Shelob in my shower for a few months. 🤔  She was cool.

Oh, I don’t mind the leggy ones. They look funky  The chunky guys freak me out though. I had one in the storage room earlier this year. It would change where it hung out everyday which gave me anxiety whenever I walked in, so I eventually resorted to violence even though I usually let spiders be or just take them outside
