That Dude Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 I wonder if we will ever know the real identity of this band. Billie hates them, Mike sarcasticly said it was Green Day. Tre went wrestling...yeah yeah yeah. 2 Quote
Elxufinnishidiot Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Ah yes it is from there. Well now Billie has read my comment!! :DDD 2 Quote

Annie, get your gun Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Maybe I'm skeptic for other reasons that have nothing to do with this, but I don't believe it. 1 Quote
Popular Post TJChrobo Posted October 30, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 30, 2020 I think is is interesting that he said there would not be a part two to a Green Day album. Did he have part two’s on the mind? 😏 #MM2020II 6 Quote

willplaygame Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 So it’s basically confirmed now right? Cause if we’re to believe BJA, then why, if this whole thing wasn’t real, would’nt he just say « look, we did the 2003 Network record, but that ain’t us, sorry ». Yet, instead of that, he’s saying « we’re not The Network », which we all know for a fact, is not true. 4 Quote
Elxufinnishidiot Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Do you guys now think that in some show, The Network will play before Green Day in few shows, like in 2005? 3 Quote

petros Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 That's so awesome actually. Love it and I love the Network. Can be the best release since 2009 for me! 2 Quote
Popular Post pacejunkie punk Posted October 30, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 30, 2020 Is it me or does Billie seem to be having a lot more fun with this than he did during FOAM promotion? 12 Quote
Christian's Inferno! Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 Saw this thread and listened to the two songs. The Prophecy doesn't really excite me at all. It seems like maybe an intro track to the album. The Ultimate Test seems more promising and has a pretty epic feel I was never that into The Network. I remember a couple songs being pretty good but it's been ages since I've listened to it. I prefer Foxboro but I feel like almost everything they've done since the trilogy has been inspired by FBHTs so I'm all for something different I do welcome this because FOAMF was boring and I welcome something more experimental Does anyone have the lyrics to these tracks; specifically the Ultimate Test cause it's harder to understand the lyrics on that track 1 Quote

Definitely. FOAMF was lackluster in terms of hype build up etc. it seemed almost like they just wanted to get the album out and forget about it. 3 Quote

Popular Post petros Posted October 30, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 30, 2020 Also these songs are produced like green day should be produced. Why do all the albums since and after the trilogy don't have that classic green day sound and this band that is not supposed to be green day has it? 7 3 Quote

It can’t all be fun all the time and Green Day more recently seems more like a business than a band. Quote
DookieLukie Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 I've liked their side projects more than GD releases since AI. I feel like they're trying too hard to keep the GD sound and are afraid to experiment under their name. 2 Quote

Maybe if we stream/purchase the crap out of the Trilogy they will realize they can get weird again under the Green Day brand. If they want to wear masks or feature Lady Cobra on every song, I am right behind them. 7 Quote

Yes, and it annoys me. To be fair, they tried changing their sound on the trilogy and with FOAMF, and you see how that went. Maybe they trying to keep up appearances as Green Day and then actually do something experimental (and good) under a different name. 1 Quote
