TimmyChunks Posted October 30, 2020 Posted October 30, 2020 This is quite the scramble in catching up given how fast the thread is moving, but doesn’t it seem the snippet last night was pretty in line with traditional Network songs, while Ultimate Test is much more developed and polished? It’s a much more complex structure and developed lyrics, and the production is different as well. To me, this sounds like it’s much more fitting for a broad release/ reception than the original Network set. Notice how I didn’t use mainstream, but I guess it’s a bit more that as well. Certainly not a complaint, I think this is fantastic and some of the best new stuff I’ve heard in a long time. And much needed right now! 1 1 Quote

The YouTube leak notes say it was recorded last February so it would have been part of the FOAM sessions. It just sounds so borderline Green Day it could have been and then they decided to write new Network material. So like Roshambo it could explain why it sounds like the least Network song of the bunch (if it will). 6 Quote

But then, assuming this is Billie singing, why does his voice sound very different? Quote
