The Ultimate Test is NOT the Network. It’s actually called “Sound the Alarm” by the band Viva Death. We can put this to rest and focus on the REAL Network songs now :) Sorry to burst the bubble!

The other two “leaked” songs are also by this band

Great! How you discovered it?

Anyway, thanks to whoever created these leaks, because this was fun to believe in while it lasted and even though it’s another lesson to never believe Green Day would do something exciting, we got cool new songs to listen to that I wouldn’t discover otherwise.

I’m so glad they’re on Spotify. I’m gonna check them out now even though I’m sure I’m just giving them what they wanted 😄

I think it’s a fair game  If the actual Network output was more interesting than this, I wouldn’t have got up on that hill. Gonna give VD a listen now.

So who do we think posted the video with their name on it a while ago? Someone involved or someone random just dicking around? Even though it’s 2020, the Network isn’t exactly a well-known band. Seems like it would be really lucky timing for someone random to do it.

Could be trolling from a GD fan.

I think it’s just a coincidence. It is 2020 after all- if anyone was gonna fake a Network song, they’d do it this year. It wasn’t that hard to predict, everyone was calling it last year, but it seemed unlikely and was forgotten once Covid hit. I don’t think there’s some kind of conspiracy to it, the person just got lucky.

Maybe but I still think it was an odd pick for a song that didn’t sound like The Network in particular and that would make it an even bigger coincidence that a member of the band is the brother of a member of Green Day. I think they conspired to do this together for fun.

Viva Death's album from where Sonud The Alrms was taken was released in 2018... wtf?

What did the description on it say again? Did anyone save it? It’ll be more interesting to read in hindsight. :P

I don't think I saw this mentioned on the last page, but has The Ultimate Test been identified as well?

Ignore me. Just realised I'm being dumb!

I still like the songs so will be checking out Viva Death.  When I first saw the thumbnail for the album cover I thought OMG, it’s the Panicland mock-up again 😂 (it was v small).
No problem, I love IIAN and there’s more to come, but I bet they do all know and are just enjoying themselves.

Now I’m really wondering why Billie posted it to Instagram though.

Look at the message he posted with it.

I kind of don’t get what would be the intent behind disappointing your fans on purpose.

Guys, if we had googled the lyrics we have for the song, we would never have fallen for it...

it's kinda unbelievable that nobody has done it

Or just say, “Alexa what song is this?” 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Asking this about the guy that said “We like to mess with our fans, almost to the point of abuse”
