I’m a bit surprised to see they reused the footage from Irving Plaza, since the videos have been hidden on their youtube account, but it’s nice to see it. Another song I didn’t know - I’m beginning to feel like a heathen.

GO WATCH THE MOVIE NOW!!!

One of my favorite songs. So glad to hear Billie sing it. Definitely something to look forward to each Monday.

That one vocal phrase in the chorus sounds nearly identical to The Longshot's "Keep Me Satisfied" and now I have that song stuck in my head. Great cover this week!

Well they both were written to deliberately sound like Beatles songs so there are certain key signature sounds that are gonna come up repeatedly

It’s a great movie try to get the extended as the story is more complete the theater version cut out of a lot of the story

Which movie?

I’m a little surprised they used the Irving Plaza footage, I find it pretty painful.

He may have been fucked up but it’s one of the best shows they’ve ever done

I agree... I guess this video is a way to use material from that show/ a homage to it and new york without really bringing out the actual footage.

If I could choose one show from the past to see, it would likely be this one - small venue and an amazing setlist.

I have a short list of shows I can watch in full over and over and that's one of them

I'm so lucky to have been at that show, amazing night. Billie is fucking perfect on this song, this was meant for him to cover. I love it soooo much!

Tell me what it was like when he dove off the balcony during Holiday.  Did he land on or near you?

WOW! That was phenomenal! His voice sounded perfect and it was all exquisitely produced. Billie just keeps blowing me away with these covers. I feel so lucky to be a GD fan right now!

While the latest cover is my least favorite, it still sparked something that has lead me to my latest listening adventure.   Fountains of Wayne have always been on the outskirts of my musical habits.   I keep up with what they are doing, but haven't really given them much attention.

But after slogging through the career of Hoobastank, this is such a breath of fresh air.   Not the best rock music I've ever heard, but certainly better than a lot of artists out there.

For a band that has some success, these guys have surprisingly little money.   According to google, they are worth 850,000.   That's a lot of money for me.   But that's the lowest net worth I've ever seen for a band with international success, even at a lower level.     I'd put them around the same tier as Bowling for Soup, but even those guys have millions.   11 Million versus Green Day's 85 Million or whatever, but man.

Anyway.   They are decent band I've tackled a couple of their albums so far.   In my top 200 bands, which is alright.
