Okay so here’s somewhat of an update:

The radio station played Brain Stew, and right after the song the DJ says - “there’s some Green Day for ya! And you know what else is green? Saint Patrick’s day...and that just might have something to do with Green Day! Green beer, Green Day, we have something very special planned for you guys. Details will be announced soon!”

 

Again, this is all I know. Which is nothing! Don’t shoot the messenger 😁

Probably just a station event and not necessarily anything the band is involved in.

Finally! 

So it’s nothing that cool, but they WERE gonna have “Green Day” st paddy’s day. They were going to be giving away tickets all day for the Hella Mega show in Philly. DJ just said they are going to put it on hold because of the coronavirus BS. He said in the future they are gonna have a day full of Green Day tickets

Ah at least we got an answer. Don’t get why they can’t give away tickets Tuesday but ok in the future

Holidays have been cancelled until further notice. 

St. Patrick's is one I don't celebrate, and it was nice that people weren't pinching me due to a lack of green.   

Doesn't being a Green Day stan qualify for a life of no pinching?   I need to look up the rules.

Too bad we didn't get a St. Patrick's Day anthem from the guys.    

Glorious Sons are doing "songs in isolation" on youtube, that could be a good look on Green Day or Billie Joe if he doesn't want Mike and Tre breathing near him or something.
