Graffitia is so damn good. 🥰🥰 I was listening to the album while doing yard work today. He definitely has uncanny ability to channel the future. “I’ve got the shakes/ and I’m on fire All hell is breaking loose and heaven only knows“ Those lines keep clanging around in my head right now since they’re so true. This is a challenge. My young kids are losing their minds, and I’m doing all I can to be the steadying and calm force in their lives. But I’m barely holding it together. I’ve honestly never felt so vulnerable before. It’s so hard. Thanks for letting me vent. 8 Quote

My “office” is my dining room of an 800 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment. I feel couped up, I haven’t had face to face conversations in over a week. Most of my family isn’t worried about what’s going on. I’m not freaking out, but I it seems like every hour I’m getting a new alert from my work that something has changed and I can’t keep up. I’m battle against a current that I can’t win. 1 Quote
DookieLukie Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 I can see the lyrical similarities to what is happening with the world now, but the song is definitely about cocaine use. 4 Quote

That Dude Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 Nearly 4 months in and Father of All is STILL the greatest album to drop so far. 4 Quote

Green Day albums always had some kind of concept in a particular period of life to me. Father of All Motherfuckers are not going anywhere soon from my listening. February was Meet Me On The Roof month, themed with my girlfriend. March is Take The Money And Crawl month, with phd works. April seems to be Junkies On A High month, with quarantine depression and alcoholism 😂 1 Quote
Little Boy Named Booze Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 I've listened the entire album again this morning. Side B is definitively my favorite part. I really like this album tho. Can't believe Sugar Youth wasn't a single.... 1 Quote
Popular Post W_FInkThePlatypusHunter Posted March 31, 2020 Popular Post Posted March 31, 2020 This album has grown on me, a lot. I liked it when it first came out. So many little details come out on the umpteenth listen through. It’s a fun jangly album with liberal dash of grit and dark undertones. I love it. Could the boys have released an album for “dancing into the apocalypse” at a better time? I’m really looking forward to whatever comes next. It’s songs like “Sugar Youth” where you can feel the anxiety and self destructive impulses just oozing from your speakers. That’s what makes the album for me. It feels more inspired than the Trilogy(which holds a special place in my heart)and RevRad to an extent. This album will have a cult following, one day. 6 Quote
