That Dude Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 So everybody is agreed. This is a great song! Honestly I listened twice through this morning and haven't had a chance to really grasp my feelings on it. First Impressions: seems like a good song, maybe a little thin compared to other GD songs. But I know Green Day. Later today or 4 days from now I will be in love with it!

Jean Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 I've noticed people have been saying that this samples Joan Jett but wouldn't it actually sample Gary Glitter (a known pedophile) as it is a cover of his song?
JardyOfSuburbia Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Only listened to it once because I'm at work. Definitely feels like this will get stuck in my head. I like that it's less aggressive than the previous two singles. Curious how this would come across live. As always, just happy to have my favorite band releasing new music and will find a way to love and appreciate whatever they release.
greendepent Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Is interesting. But it lacks a proper chorus. And the sample sounds forced into the song. It doesn't add any emotions Btw, seems like BJ or somebody read in this forum about the bad nature of one of the songwriters of Oh Yeah, so they donate the royalties. Cool move
Jorgemas Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Feels like I’m watching and listening Billie eilish
Killjoy From Detroit Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Don't know why but the lyrics kinda reminded me of Drive North by SWMRS
XxxcarterxxX Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 The video made me appreciate the song a lot more!
Andrew_ Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 I’ve gone from “wtf is this” on the first listen to actually really liking it😬
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Just realized this is real green day's version of Antisocial Media from MOOTIK

paperlanterns22 Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Heard the first 30 seconds or so because I’m in class and have no headphones so I put it on the lowest volume and held it to my ear 😂 can’t wait to hear the rest when I get home!
MillenniumFan Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 The FOAM music video and live performances made me like FOAM more, this video makes me like Oh Yeah more. It's amazing! What's funny as well is that the social and political critiques in FOAM and Oh Yeah don't feel forced, but on point.
Alba88geo Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Is the line "jingoes and heathens" as in people who support war or is it jingles and heathens as in the round of bullets hitting concrete.... Either way the song is really dark.... I love it

It's amazing! The thing about the video is that it really gives you some insight about the headspace he was in when writing the song While this song is entirely different I don't entirely dislike it. I just really want that fast and hard rock with balls sound they made us expect. I can relate to the song's subject and the theme of the video.
