Yeah I thought there’d at least be a funny hint of what went wrong. This makes it look like it was just a routine shoot.

Yep. MTV and Fuse used to do 30 minute shows called "Making Of..." and it was more of a "how we did it" with the band & director.

I didn't even notice from the original video that there were actual people dancing on the scaffold. I thought it was just a projection or sth. Gotta pay more attention.

So did the stylist think they were all the same height?  Mike has this cool gold suit but the trousers are way too short, need to watch the proper video again to check but this will be why we never see his feet 😂😂

That was a fun quick look, but I do miss the days of MTV Making of where they would show you as much as they could for roughly 30 minutes. Shame no one does that anymore.

Shame that Music television stations don't show music videos at all anymore (unless you're up from 3am to 5am).

I really miss channels like MTV and Fuse. That's how I learned about so much cool music and I loved how so much of their programming was not only dedicated to videos, but to behind the scenes or making of stuff too.

Steven's Untitled rock show, Daily Download on Fuse. My summer afternoons revolved around being on the couch for those in the early 2000s. Now they just play early 2000s sitcoms (and not the good ones at that) all damn day and night.

I wonder if the fiasco they described was just over how many takes they had to do. With all those dancers to coordinate and the director calling for them to do one more, Billie’s “spent” and “too old for this shit” comments, they looked pretty wiped at the very end there. Maybe that’s all it was, just a long day.
