Honestly the fan base has been very cringe the past few days.    It's perfectly alright that you were disappointed in the song/album art/whatever etc.   But to start dumb conspiracy theories that FOAM is a "joke" album and rumors about his personal life is ridiculous and out of line imo. 

Chill the heck out.  Everyone is over analyzing everything they say.   Green Day has never been very serious in interviews.

He's not, but not sober doesn't automatically mean wasted just as sober doesn't automatically mean healthy. Everybody recovers from addiction in their own way, but from my personal experience and also observation for what it's worth, recovery can be something else than abstinence on the long term. For now, Billie looks just fine (the fact you thought he was sober is kind of an evidence of it. )

Yeah I’m kinda shocked. I didn’t think anyone ever goes back to it after rehab, or not meant to anyway. He clearly hasn’t had the strongest willpower, from what’s been said about the Nimrod era forward...his drinking was never in control. Let’s hope he can keep it under check this time!

Addiction and control have complex relations between them . I mean, you're out of addiction when you don't need to control anymore, because you manage to stay healthy and happy without being in your head about what was previously the object the addiction. For other people it's only abstinence that works. But I wouldn't say "willpower" as such is the solution, nor that there's anything showing he seemed to have lacked some (it may just be of no effect when you're still in the shit), but anyway, now he looks fine. Let's hope the best for him yeah!
