Just watched them play FOA again. Twice. Holy shit, what a performance! After 15 years of being a fan Green Day still manages to take me by surprise.. I never thought Billie would nail those vocals the way he does. Mike finally gets some time to shine again, reminding us all of what a great bass player he truly is. Tré is just fucking killing it in this song.

This era, man. This era.

The drumming sounds incredible. I'm no drummer but it sounds really complex!

Agreed, I'm not a drummer either but it does seem really impressive. Tré is so talented!

Someone needs to edit this performance of basket case into the last one and cut out the meltdown. This will begin to make things right

I want to hear the story of the making of the video. Sounds wild.

I love how akward (yet hilarious) they are then suddenly when the guy brings up Nashville Billie perks up like an excited kid when he gets to talk about a music documentary

Well that interview sure sucked.

I watched bits and pieces of the performance this morning these are my personal take aways from it:

1) They sound awesome live again! This is the best that they've sounded live in years! This makes me feel alot better about dropping $400+ on Hella Mega!

2) What a BORING crowd. Ok when they zoomed in I actually saw fans dancing and singing along and generally having a great time so that's awesome. But really? If you see a crowd of actual GD fans we're way more excited than that and you can tell even if you take an overhead shot of us!

3) I think they lost a chance to play Oh Love and 21 Guns again. I mean this is a Top 40 crowd you're playing to. They probably would have appreciated those songs.

4) At the end it appears they go over their time and seems like they're trolling by playing Father of All Motherfuckers again lol
