Why does this make your hopes sky high for that leak? Just because one leak is fake, doesn't mean the other isn't

Well, I just tried to Shazam the Dr.RobertDoback leaks, and the good news is, I got no result!!! To make sure I wasn’t doing anything wrong, I tested it with an older Green Day song and it came right up!!!

Well, there are other factors to play such as audio quality. But yeah it seems whoever made those leaks made them either from scratch or heavily distorting/changing some existing track (for example by using isolated and/or modified vocals together with newly recorded instrumentation). Either way, none of what we’ve seen to date eliminates the possibility that they’re fake, but it would at least be an elaborate fake, maybe by an insider or something.

Soooo, I've been reading GDC since, oh, maybe 2013ish, but never felt the need to make an account till now, namely bc GDC stopped letting me read threads without an account

Concerning the Magnum Opus theory, I found an instagram acc that hashtagged #inertwings, possibly a MOTIK title? I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned by someone (I just skimmed 40 pages of this thread to catch me up on this enjoyable loop that never ends) but:

Same post also hashtagged  stuff like, #magnumopusoftheingloriouskind and #greendaynewsong ...you get the gist of it I'm sure

Thing is, the short vid that accompanied it kinda sounds like a demo for Somewhere Now.... I'll just link the post here and someone can figure out what's up

 

"Inert Wings" sounds kinda green day-ish in my opinion but tbh so does Bratwurst if you really think about it....  

Black and white seems like this dude (or dudette) is trying to grab the Doback aesthetic

I think these clips are exactly what it would sound like if somebody was manipulating old green day stems to make something that sounds like it's new (because that's what I think it is lol).

With that method, you'd only really get brief snippets of stuff that's able to be passed as new, and definitely nothing as long as the doback ones.

The DoBack clips on Instagram were lifted from a Snapchat account, Tad🌙, which I can’t find. Maybe it’s a private account. Does Snapchat have the option to hide your account from the search?

The less than stellar audio of those clips could be explained with snapchat as it was recorded off a phone, right?
