Boulevard of broken dreams sounds as amazing backwards as it does forwards!

I like how in the Kevin and Bean breakfast interview he compared social media to a bathroom stall and said “for a good time call” sounds like a song idea.  Sounds like something that would go “with a 1-800- liiiiiii-iiii-ii-iii-ie”

Or a lyric from the 80s song "Jenny (867-5309)"

If MOotIK was just a cover of 867 5309 I wouldn't even be mad tbh

From the Rolling Stone interview with Billie Eilish:

"I think it’s a new frontier for [Green Day], which is really fun. We’re not gonna have a record deal, which is awesome. I’m able to put out whatever I feel like anytime. I did the Longshot record, and I got to put stuff out on SoundCloud."

Don't throw away your hopes just yet.

Whether we like that new way or not, what I'll say is not new but it's awesome that he's just so humble to be happy to put out stuff that will be heard 1000x less times than a single of an album put out "normally" in the old days (for them) before sound cloud and all that. He likes experiencing new ways and can be happy about things that have nothing to do with gaining more fame/money. Especially fame, it's something many stars (or even just any human being at their level) feel like needing to feed all the time, when money may not feel necessary anymore. I'm really proud to be a fan of a guy like that, all famous and deserving of his success that he is

Wasn’t this interview filmed quite a while back? And since then they’ve said they’re open to remaining with Warner

I don't follow many big artists so I don't really know how rare it is, but if there's one thing I appreciate about Billie, it's that he plays small shows and does lowkey stuff like The Longshot or Foreverly. If he wanted to, he could make a lot of noise about his solo record.

Yea. Early august. This post by broken guitars had both Billies tagged when it was initially posted (see comments section)

“In a new interview with KROQ 106.7/FM’s The Kevin & Bean Show, the vocalist and guitarist revealed that his personal favourite Green Day tune is the epic, nine-minute-long Jesus Of Suburbia from 2004’s iconic American Idiot album, while bassist Mike Dirnt instead joked that he couldn’t decide as it was like picking a favourite child.” MOOTIK IS CONFIRMED 😂 we all knew that hating long songs comment was bogus.

And the fact that at Whisky A Go Go, Billie said FOAMF was too short, so they played it again!

WOW! That MUST mean MOOTIK is legit! It must be! There's 0% chance that we don't get the MOOTIK album at some point! Congrats on solving the puzzle, guys!

But really, you guys are reading too much into what Billie's saying. Of course they're gonna play their new single multiple times. Of course JoS, arguably one of their best songs, is gonna be a favourite of theirs. That doesn't mean that Billie wants to write long songs right now, or that MOOTIK is a thing

Also, I don't even really get how long songs is an argument that MOOTIK is a thing. Have we got any indication that MOOTIK would have long songs in it? I mean, from what we've heard, the sound of the album appears to be more "epic" than FOAMF is gonna be and if it were real, I'm sure we'd probably get some 3-4 minute songs, but I don't see how anything we've heard about MOOTIK indicates long songs (like 6+ minutes)

They should play Jesus of Suburbia multiple times.

No encores. No KFAD. I'm petitioning to even remove it on future versions of Nimrod.

So while watching this interview a few things stuck out to me:

@  5:30 - Billie says "we have a lot of songs left over [from FOAM]", which prompts Tre to raise his eyebrows and shoot the audience a sly look

@ 14:50 - When asked what music they've made that they're proudest of, Tre says "we haven't released it or told anybody what it's called yet"

I want to believe.

I’m telling y’all. There will be a song about comparing the Internet to a bathroom stall on either FOAM or WHATEVER comes next. Maybe not MOOTIK because honestly that does sound like the title to a greatest hits more than an album, but what I heard on Instagram are Green Day songs and I’m sure that artwork is legitimate whether they use it or not.

But then why would they tease us with the Magnum Opus cover in those same leaks?

Maybe the unicorn wasnt ready idk haha

MOOTIK doesn't even sound like a album name, sounds like a codename used by folks on the inside before it is announced. Although it is green day so who knows lmao

That'd only be about 40 minutes though. Better play an encore of Restless Heart Syndrome ×3 and the Father of All ×5.

I'll take Father of All 5X and FRA 10x then everyone go home

I still think that MOOTIK is just a placeholder for testing the font and artwork and the real title would be different
