For sure, still trying to come to grips with the fact that this could be the first Green day's album that I don't like 

I barely liked Dos and this sounds like a follow up

I was basing on the interviews that highlighted that this will be the genre of music mainly

They're my favorite band ever since I was a kid and I started to make music only because of them

I just didn't dig the single that much and hearing from them that the album will follow that direction kinda low my expectations

See that's the thing- I'm crazy excited for FOAMF, even if I end up not liking it so much. My expectations are always high for this band because I know what they're capable of. If it doesn't immediately knock my socks off, that's okay; the trilogy took a while to grow on me too.

This Magnum Opus thing is like a minigame for a select few of us here. Right? I'm certain I don't speak for us all in saying this is a neat little time killer while we wait for the album we KNOW is coming. For some hoping it's real, it might be a little more serious than that. If this thing ends up being a hoax after all, that's totally cool (with me). What I don't understand is why anyone is determined to shit on the very idea of it being a thing. I sincerely hope nobody falls into depression if this mystical record doesn't pan out.

The saddest part of all this is that the artwork was discarded because it was pretty. Much better than the actual GFB art (even tho I still liked the aesthetic of it all). Judging by FOAM’s art though I can see why they didn’t go with the superior one.

For all you guys saying you’re certain it’s Billie’s voice, I already explained how it could be Billie’s voice. Anyone can take the vocal tracks from rock band and manipulate them. I’ve done it before, it’s not hard.

Its way to epic to be just cut together from old songs. We would recognize words or something. This is just to good and natural sounding to be cut together.

Watch the last video on @ panicland account ... It kinda sounds like Billie but it's panicland ... Maybe this guy from panicland has just a voice that sounds like Bj.  It could be him doing the "ah---ahhh---ahhhh" part on the leaks

Agreed, this is a time killer/slightly serious thing for me. I want to believe everything about this theory and I am fully on board, but, if it turns into nothing I am fine. 

FOAMF the song, has grown on me. I found myself humming and singing it all day at work in my head. It will grow on me more I am sure and I think we’re going to get a solid album from the guys (they have never actually dissappointed me). 

Artwork still needs time to sink in though lol.

But to me it seems so weird why they don’t do anything about it if they know. Assuming this was an alternative GFB artwork and Panicland is using it for their own shit, isn’t that even a copyright issue? It just doesn’t make any sense, all of this. 

MOOTIK has become a metaphor for me that something about this new era seems really, really odd so far, and those who don’t see the signs or don’t want to see them are clearly in denial, not us. 

Edit: And I’m only talking about the general vibe that kind of feels wrong, not anything specific, in case that came off wrong. As I said several times before, if this is really the direction they wanna go to, I’m fine with it and I accept it. I don’t have to like everything they do, it’s okay. The whole thing just doesn’t feel completely honest to me.

I was for MAGNUM but at this point I done care. Im actually okay With this era. Like come on guys, FOAM is fucking awesome it just doesn't sound like old green day. I mean guys they are getting old, you can't expect these top ten hits from them anymore cuz they've been there and done that. They obviously believe  this album will popular because of how they promoting it. I mean look how confident and happy they are right now. Billie Joe  is truly one of a kind, he looks and sounds like he's 30, and he is literally the king oof rock right now.  Lets just appreciate FOAMF because in all honesty that song slaps, listening to it makes me wanna  wish I was rockstar who parties hard. it pumps me the fuck up. who the fuck cares if we get a second album, we haven't even heard this one yet, we can't judge an album by its artwork, we have no idea what's to come. We were begging them for answers about new music and they provided it and yeah it was weird at first but after hearing more and more that song is amazing. Appreciate the fact that Green Day is still ambitious as fuck and is still putting out new music. FOAMF shows they have balls , cuz it takes a lot for a band to do that especially knowing that  they'd be criticized by their OWN fans. they  honestly don't care though knowing that They are the most talked about band right now, they are awesome  as fuck once again and I can go to sleep tonight knowing  GD is back and better than ever. and They developed a weird things for unicorns though but I guess that's just their "DAD" humor.

If you are that good sir hats off to you, I work with audio and I wouldn't be able to accomplish such result 

Manipulate is not easy, you can't just cut out words at least you have a capella melody. In the leaks there is a full melody that we never listened before. In addition on the last leak there is also a screamed voice mixed with the clean ones. Try to replicate that ahahahha
