I've said this before, but this is another example of a situation where it is best to lower expectations. The news will probably be for a video or something.  

Radio DJs often have a habit of over-hyping announcements like this, to draw listeners. 

Just enjoy FOAMF and soak in the present moment we are in with the band. It's a bloody great tune.

I like the new single. To me the biggest sign that provides any kind of "evidence" for this theory is how uninterested they appear to be in this album. The more I think about it the more I go back and forth between believing this and thinking it's unrealistic. I'm appreciative of the fact that we are getting anything, but there is just a weird vibe about this entire era so far.

Not sure it's fair to say they are "uninterested". Have you not seen any of the live footage of them playing FOAMF twice in a row? Billie was bouncing off the wall.

A few months ago someone said they'll blend their nimrod if something happens and the phrase stuck

I saw that, I am just comparing their excitement regarding previous albums. When RevRad was being released Billie seemed to love talking about it. This album isn't really being discussed much. I honestly hope I'm wrong and they start promoting it more soon.

I'm 100% sure it was a hoax.  I mean look at the artwork it was just an old painting with crappy photoshopped faces.

The album name is the one thing that keeps me hanging on, it's pretty much "FOAMF" but more verbose if you think about it

... correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t it say it’s not about new music? Wouldn’t a video be classed as related to new music... sort of?

I wouldn’t really class that as Big news though? Not that something like that would require a whole radio appearance when they announce like R+L it’s usually over the phone. Or something

This much is confirmed, in their latest interview they said something about releasing more music before the tour, which begins in June

Yeah, Dr Robert Doback is the Will Ferrell’s step dad in Step Brothers and then they do that whole Anchorman thing, also starring Will. Billie is known to love Will so i dont think that it’s just a coincidence.
