After listening to the full songs, they don't really sound like Green Day outside of a few parts (i.e. parts of the chorus of Take A Stand). The vocals outside of the parts that we heard in the leaks don't sound like Billie. Great job with the trolling though, really had me believing it! Sings are pretty good so far (definitely not as good as I was expecting from MOOTIK but for what it is I'm inpressed) and I look forward to hearing the rest. Side note: even though this wasn't real I have a feeling we are getting something other than FOAM. I can't really explain or justify it logically but this era still doesn't feel right, and I love the two singles from FOAM so far.

Part of the fandom complained for ages that any fan film based on the original trilogy was better then the prequels, and when episode VII actually used most of the elements of the original trilogy that same part of the fandom complained because that is “derivative fan service”. 

The day GD will release a new rock opera I’m pretty sure this is what will happen here

Take A Stand is such a good song considering this project was purely for fun haha

I mean the chorus is catchy as fuck. Interestingly though people keep mentioning 21CB, I think it also has elements from AI and Maria / Too Much Too Soon sound-wise (post Warning, early 2000 Billie). 

Of course this doesn't come close to Green Day production-wise, but then how could one possibly expect it to?

And I‘m standing 100% behind my opinions. Making mistakes and being wrong is something that makes us human. Now when I listen to the full tracks, it‘s pretty obvious that there are no incredible expensive mixing and mastering engineers involved, but to me Panicland did a goog job, and it was definitely good enough for pranking a few thousands and several online magazines so I‘m not sure what exactly you want from me? Wanna hear how right you were and how wrong we were? 😜

Yeah and all the other copycats didn't even come close. I'd be the last to describe Panicland's own music as to my taste, but they did a pretty good job here considering this was essentially one big prank.

Dude I don’t want anything from you  I just made you notice, since you quoted me, that I didn’t stated that the whole thing is sampled (not sure what you mean by that by the way), but that I was just repeating what many people tried to explain to you guys in the past three months, while you were saying that this was 100% not Panicland and 100% Green Day

I absolutely agree with this, after listening to this a couple of times I think that all or most of the “melisma” parts (or however you want to call the aaaah ooooh) are stacked with Billie’s voice. Those are the bits (and there’s like tons of them in both songs) that at least my ears picks at first listen, especially when you listen to these songs in low quality/volume, and I think that’s why it really sounded like Billie in the “leaks”. Really well done 😄 

But when I listen to a full verse there’s clearly something off, no wonder those parts were cut out from the “leaks”  Nevertheless brilliant job, the songs are cool and I would definitely call this the greatest GD tribute I have ever heard

And to me this whole thing being fake made not more sense than if it was real at this time, but it is how it is, and I‘m glad that we got new music and that it‘s over now
