Look at us, holding onto Billie's word that they'll release something else before the tour even though all he knows is be a liberal, flash his ass, and lie

Tbh, I'm so waiting for BJA's autobiography. And Mike and Tre's. I have so many questions...

Any serious autobiographical book written by them would be a true magnum opus

This is going to make some clickbait noise

anyway a mini rock opera is going to be released next year

All I can think of now is the Kerrang interview where Billie said they like to fuck with the fans to the point of it being abusive. I suspect not long after this started Bill or someone sought to find out what it was, got brought in on it and the band have been playing along for a good while.

PANICLAND, release the songs, were dying to hear themmmm

Posted

So Matt was wrong that Panicland had nothing to do with this.

I am honestly disappointed with FOAM, and I am impressed with Panicland's work, even though they try to sound like GD, I personally find them to be very elaborate and interesting. And I am not saying this lightly, I have been listening to GD since 1999 when I was a little kid. But it makes sense it was them, the 2 am anthem song on their instagram was so similar to GD.

Even though it sounds presumptuous, I wish MOOTIK was a real album from GD.

Yeah it hurts me to say that, but the snippets are way better than the songs from FOAM so far

I’m not comparing them to FOAMF I love the new stuff, but I do really like what Panicland did. The extended and clearer clips in their reveal video show them to be really good songs. Great piece of fan art, Green Day should be flattered.

green day makes a bon jovi record

blink 182 makes a Wiggles record

weezer makes some wack tribute to corny 80s metal, after doing a record of corny 80s pop covers (woah rivers, so outside the box!)

fallout boy makes a charlie puth album

panicland makes a green day album

and lastly

sum41 with the most cringe worthy attempt at being political in all of musics history. dear god that was sad to see from a balding sleepy pug face

what a great year for rock n roll!

What did they get right? The cover was not the scrapped GFB cover like they said.

Now pop punk is sung mostly by people in their 40s. And it is listened by people like me, who are becoming old.

It's not surprising that it's getting dull.

I wish some young people would bring freshness, diversity and new creativity.

Young people aren’t happy like we used to be.. I think most of them are scared for their life, and you aren’t going to be creative and care free if every day you have to worry about being shot in your classroom, and have absolutely no leadership or anything to be excited or inspired about.

i seriously feel sorry for the generation after the Millennials..

i love that some of the lyrics that Panicland wrote match the lyrics BRENNAN HUFFING  posted. Ha. Poor Huff, he was ripped to shreds here.

Panicland: 1,8000000000000000

Rome has oficially fallen..

Ok but seriously. Panicland, d u d e s. I underestimated them so bad 😅

They need to release this as theirs if they personalize it a bit more

Burn It All is something i NEED on my playlist

Btw. not all of my questions were answered. The only ones that were actually answered were: 1) who is Dr. Doback and 2) is MOTIK actually GFB

So Bill first posted here that Panicland were laughing their asses off at us on September 12, just two days after FOAMF dropped. So Green Day have known about this for at least that long and any “hints” they seem to have dropped likely were them playing along and messing with us.

I am not from North America. I think my point is more general. Even in Europe pop punk is much less popular then it used to be. Other genres are flourishing because they are more popular among young people.

Also, great music does not necessarily come from a place of serenity. A lot of punk music came from experience of struggle and uncertainty. And I think that a lot of great music has been released lately by American artists, such as Billie Eilish. I just think pop punk is more absent in younger generations, and I believe that has an impact on creativity and originality for that genre.

Those hints were included in the video though, which they sent them to explain this mess so probably not
